Offering accommodation for 2-10 people in a park-like setting. Guests have the use of a fully self-contained 3 bedroom ‘home away from home’ (2 queen sized beds, 2 single beds and 3 portable innersprung single beds); or the delightful self-contained guest suite with a queen sized bed and en-suite. Both guest areas have a private entry, are tastefully furnished with your comfort and relaxation the main priority.
The features of Kirkham Manor are many and include secure keyed entry, all cutlery, crockery, bedding, linen and towelling. There is a fully heated indoor pool and spa for your enjoyment, an Edwardian tennis court for a bit of ‘hit and giggle’ and a covered barbecue area where you can enjoy al fresco dining. Take pleasure in a glass of your faviourite beverage as you sit by the lake and soak in the rural views and RELAX!
A wonderful seasonal retreat - The floral magic of the Southern Highlands comes alive when you stay at Kirkham Manor - spring has rhododendrons, tulips, daffodils and jonquils on show; summer brings the perfume of roses and the splendour of lilies and hydrangeas; autumn sees the changing of the colours from the beautfiful greens to wonderful autumn hues and winter brings the stark contrasts of deciduous trees and delightful winter flowering plants - a treat at any time of the year.
The village of Sutton Forest is a convenient 1 ½ hour’s pleasant drive from Sydney or Canberra and about 45 minutes from the coast and Wollongong. Once you have settled into Sutton Forest (Phar Lap country), you can explore the nearby wineries and historic towns of Exeter, Bundanoon, Moss Vale, Robertson (‘Babe’ country’), Berrima and Bowral, with their beautiful buildings, antique shops, art galleries and gift stores. The Morton National Park is just 10 minutes away, with views that will amaze you and, of course, you have to visit the Glow Worm Caves.
With the many pubs, sports clubs, service clubs and restaurants and cafes in such close proximity you can eat out as much as you like, or do some local shopping and cook in your own kitchen. |
